What started as a dream between Chris and Nigel all those years ago has grown into a thriving salon filled with creativity, community, and genuine connection. To mark this incredible milestone, we hosted an anniversary celebration – and what a day it was!

We’re also incredibly grateful to all the friends and family members of our team who gave their time and energy to help us before and during the event – we couldn’t have done it without you.
Our VW Beetle Legacy
If you didn’t already know, Buzby and Blue was named after Chris and Nigel’s beloved VW Beetles—Buzby and Blue. That’s why we had a real blue Beetle with balloons outside the shop during the party, as well as two hand-painted blue and yellow Beetles displayed on our shopfront. In a lovely twist of fate, we recently received an email from someone who spotted our shop in Chichester and recognised the name. They had once owned ‘Blue’ and found an old wage slip under the seat while restoring it! They told us they’d eventually sold the car to the production team behind The Grand Tour (yes, the one with Jeremy Clarkson), where it was apparently going to be fully restored. Whether that happened or not is still a mystery, but we like to think that Blue is out there somewhere—rebuilt, shining, and still making memories.

We also introduced Kerasilk Conditioning Treatments – a luxurious new service designed to deeply nourish and revitalise your hair. Every guest at the party received a voucher for a complimentary Kerasilk treatment in their goodie bag, and we’re excited to offer this transformative service to all our clients going forward. You’ll also find a new range of Kerasilk products available to purchase in the salon.
