Beauty Therapist

Job Type: Full-time, part-time, permanent

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Hours: 8 hour shifts

We are currently looking for a part time, permanent, Beauty therapist to come and join our small friendly team at Buzby & Blue.

We have just launched the CACI Synergy system, due to the successful launch we are looking for a Therapist that would like to further their career in this area.

The ideal candidate must be able to deliver our wide range of treatments to a high standard and be confident in doing so too! These treatments include Manicures, Pedicures, Shellac (or equivalent gel polish system) Tinting, Waxing, Facials, Massage, Tanning, Body treatments.

The ideal candidate needs to have a conscientious and positive approach, with a smile, even at the trickiest of times! Great communicating skills when dealing with all clients in all situations is a must and lastly, to love and enjoy what they do.

Qualifications and Technical Skills
  • NVQ Level 2 & 3 Beauty Therapy qualifications
  • CACI Trained but not essential , intimate waxing (Hot wax), Lash lifting qualifications would be an advantage
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong communication skills

Interview and Trade Test
If you are successful we will contact you for an initial telephone discussion then invite you to the salon for a trades test. The interview process will be with the Business Manager and the Beauty Manager. You will be required to do a trades test.

Our trade test days are Monday-Friday and will be unpaid but we will supply all products. After, we will then have a chat to discuss the trades test and how we move forward, at this stage we will discuss salary options (commission or a guaranteed amount, this will be based on experience).
