What Did We Learn?

The African hair salon training course has been a transformative journey for our stylists and helped empower us with essential tools and techniques tailored specifically for styling and caring for curly and coily hair. We delved deep into the intricacies of hair structure and as a result, we now possess a comprehensive understanding of how curls are formed and appreciate the unique characteristics of various textures. Equipped with this knowledge, we aim to continue to expand on these skills by working with different types of textured hair. This allows us to provide personalised advice to our clients on styling, finishing, and effective at-home hair care. Furthermore, this newfound expertise ensures that our clients with African hair can receive tailored, top-notch services that enhances the natural beauty of their unique hair textures.

Why is African Hair Salon Training Important to Us?

At Buzby and Blue, our commitment to education is at the core of our values. We believe that staying abreast of the latest techniques and trends is paramount to delivering exceptional service to our clients. This recent training holds a special significance for us, as it has deepened our understanding of our clients’ hair, allowing us to offer a service that is both rare in Chichester and crucially important. Recognising the diversity of our community in Chichester, we understand that there are individuals with African hair who often struggle to find a local salon that comprehensively understands how to care for and style their unique hair type. This specialised training has empowered us to begin our journey to becoming experts in this field. Therefore, we are now searching for models to practice and perfect these skills on. This is not currently a paid service, so if you are interested in becoming a model, please use the button below to contact us.

We look forward to filling this gap in the community, and we are looking forward to being able to provide a service that was previously hard to come by in Chichester. In the future, this will ensure that our clients with African hair no longer need to travel unnecessarily far for the same level of expertise and care as our other clients.
